The hot tub runs on a timer — heat it about 45 minutes before you plan to get in by pressing Spa on the control panel on the left side of the pool house (please don't press heater). The same panel controls the pool lights and the waterfall.

The pool is heated to 79°F when temperatures are consistently above 70°F — roughly April through September. Outside that window, heating is available on request, subject to a surcharge of $100 per °F, plus $100 per day beyond three days.

There are two zones, front and rear. Adjust each by sliding the set-point on the right of the thermostat. Please leave the mode on auto, and leave the small white temperature sensors in the bedrooms where they are — they're what keeps the bedrooms comfortable overnight.

Light switches have dimmers — hold the switch up or down to adjust. The bedside lamps turn on by touch, so don't spend too long hunting for a switch.

The TVs have YouTube TV. For other apps, and for the speakers, we recommend casting via AirPlay or Chromecast.

Please make yourself at home with the commercial oven. For insurance reasons the pizza oven, deep fryer, and roaster are sadly not available for guest use.

The outdoor grill is on a timer, so you'll need to add time before cooking. The terrace fire table is gas — please turn it off after each use.

The washer and dryer are in the garage and are available for guest use. The exercise equipment is also available, at your own risk.

A crib, bassinet, and high chair are in the master bedroom closet. Cabinet locks are under the kitchen sink, and all bedrooms have blackout blinds. Please inspect everything before use, and wash items right away if there's any chance of staining.

Trash is collected on Mondays — please leave the driveway clear that morning so the truck can get through. Recycling is separated by the waste removal service, so it can go in with everything else.

Wine country has plenty of visitors — deer, birds, and spiders. Paso Robles is even known for tarantula season in the fall; they look terrifying and are entirely friendly.

There is no smoking inside the home. The property has smoke detectors, exterior and garage video cameras, and a Ring security system.
