Wineries
Our favorite Paso Robles wineries, grouped by area.
With nearly 300 wineries, it's often best to focus on one area of Paso per day. Below are our favorites, grouped by area — a ☆ marks the ones we recommend first. Fall harvest (September–October) is the liveliest time to visit, culminating in Harvest Wine Weekend each October — book your stay early. Three farther-flung districts — Creston, the Paso Robles Highlands, and Santa Margarita Ranch — sit well east and south of our homes; they reward a dedicated day trip rather than a quick hop, so they're not mapped road-by-road below.
